Job summary

Qualifacts is a leading provider of behavioral health software and SaaS solutions, including CareLogic, Credible, and InSync platforms. The QA Analyst will create and execute manual and automated tests, verify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

The role requires 2+ years of manual testing of complex web applications, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and experience with Playwright and API testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or related field.
• Proven experience manual testing of web-based applications.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA lifecycle.
• 2+ years of manual testing for complex applications.
• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and defect lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Create and update test scenarios and cases regularly.
• Conduct thorough manual testing including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop and execute automated tests to ensure correctness and usability.
• Document, track defects, verify fixes, and ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, scrum master, PO, and stakeholders for coverage.
• Assist with investigation of support issues and test planning.

Responsibilities :

• Create and update test scenarios/cases on a regular basis
• Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, Performance Testing , to i dentify defects and ensure the stability of the software
• Develop and execute automated tests to ensure the functional correctness and usability .
• Document and track software defects, verifying bug fixes, and ensuring they are properly resolved
• Collaborate with Developers, Scrum Master, PO, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Participate for assist with the investigation of support issues
• Contribute to test planning activities .
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability of features

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer , Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in manual testing of web-based applications
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques
• 2+ years of experience in manual testing of complex applications.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies .
• Expertise in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports .
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Perform api testing when needed
• Excellent co nversational and professional communication.
• Strong proficiency in Playwright
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM).
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is a mandate
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Familiarity with TDD, unit testing, and QA lifecycle processes.
• Experience with Test automation tools using an object-oriented approach.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and t roubleshooting skills .
• Ability to work proactively in a Scrum / Agile environment.

This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office working the DAY SHIFT. Remote applicants will not be considered.
