Job summary

Achnet in India is seeking a skilled Software Quality Engineer/SDET to join our QA team. You will develop and maintain automated test frameworks, debug complex issues, and collaborate with development to enhance software quality.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of industry experience in Software Quality Engineering, SDET, or Software Engineering with significant testing responsibilities.
• Expert-level programming and debugging skills in C++.
• Functional knowledge of Python scripting for test automation and tooling.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix development environments.
• Experience using modern development tools such as Git, CMake, Visual Studio, GCC/Clang, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of SDLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile development practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and automated quality gates.
