Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases as per Software Requirements Specification (SRS).
• Participate in peer reviews for test documents like Test Plan and Test Cases.
• Reporting software bugs and re-testing resolved bugs.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Software Verification & Validation in the automotive domain.
• Experience in SDLC, STLC (Software Test Life Cycle) with various Software Engineering activities.
• Experience in Qualification, Integration testing.
• Requirement Analysis, Development of Test Plan, Test Cases and then Testing.
• Reporting the Software Bug and re‑testing the fixed or resolved bugs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong reasoning, analytical and strategizing skills.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as a good team player as per project need.
• Hands‑on experience in Python (pyTEST framework), C++ (Cpp unit test).
• Hands‑on experience in Git, Jenkins, Jama, Jira tools.
• Unit testing knowledge/experience with tools like CANTATA/Tessy.

External Skills and Expertise

• Develop and execute test cases as per Software Requirements Specification (SRS).
• Regular interaction with Systems Team and seek requirements clarification.
• Participate in peer reviews for software test documents such as Test Plan and Test Cases with the help of SRS.
• Analyze requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform peer‑to‑peer review and pre‑delivery checks.
