Job summary

MackSmaTec India Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced Quality Engineer with strong supplier quality, CMM inspection and QMS implementation skills. The role involves hands-on CMM/FARO Arm programming, supplier audits, and driving quality improvements across assembly and manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on quality management experience in automation or machine manufacturing, with proficiency in QA tools like FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP and CAPA. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in quality management, supplier audits and continuous improvement in automation or machine manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in CMM and FARO Arm programming and inspection.
• Perform supplier inspections and quality audits at vendor locations.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Resolve machine assembly quality issues.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO standards.
• Maintain QMS documentation.
• Carry out in-process inspections during manufacturing and assembly.
• Plan and maintain calibration of measuring instruments.
• Maintain quality records and department documentation.
• Drive quality improvement using FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis.
• Follow up and verify corrective and preventive actions until closure.
• Coordinate with production, design, purchase and other cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
