Job summary

MegaNucleus seeks a Quality Engineer (QE SDE) to design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of software products. The role is hybrid, based out of Gurgaon, India, with compensation aligned to industry standards.

You will read logs, build test automation, execute comprehensive test suites, and collaborate to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, driving quality across the product.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Min 2+ years of experience in any programming language (TypeScript or Python preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reading logs to analyse the root cause of the issue.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, functional, performance, and regression tests to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
• Perform code reviews, API testing, end to end testing, and white-box testing to improve product stability and reliability.
• Continuously enhance and improve test strategies, tools, and best practices in software testing.

Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer. As a QE SDE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products.

Our client is a market-leading, CX benchmarking and operational improvement SaaS platform.

This role is Hybrid, based out of Gurgaon (India).

Expected Pay: Equal or above industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading logs to analyse the root cause of the issue
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience:

• 3years of experience in manual and automation testing (Playwright preferred)
• Min 2+ years of experience in any programming language (TypeScript or Python are preferred)

Skills:

• Experience in automation testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium,
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Hurl, Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, locust or k6.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML-based testing tools.
• Knowledge of security testing practices.
• Experience in database testing with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD)
