Job summary

Expleo Group in Chennai seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to lead PPAP/PSW submissions, coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and supplier quality, and ensure rigorous GRR and gauge-related activities across new product launches.

You will engage with customers to address quality concerns, support ECN implementation, and drive corrective/preventive actions to meet Renault‑Nissan requirements and QA standards.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• 8–10 years of experience in automotive QA.
• Experience with PPAP, PSW, GRR and customer coordination.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to GD&T, Gauge development or ECN implementation.
• Coordinate PPAP/PSW with departments and customers.
• Deliver 2D checks and reports to customers; manage EOL checks and track in-house issues.
• Conduct joint customer checks in the plant for new products.
• Perform GRR activities addressing relevant issues.
• Prepare and submit PSW documents with other departments; review with customer.
• Interact with customers to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct PPAP/PSW activities and submissions for new product launches and engineering changes.

• Awareness of Customer specific requirements
• Exposure of AAR, Customer audits, Process Capability (TAG30) and Customer coordination for PPAP approval
• Part on gauge assessment / 2D checks and reports sharing to customer. Monitoring and conducting the EOL / firewall/ in coming checks to consolidate and track all in-house issues for closure.
• Conducting joint checks with customer in the plant for new products.
• Conducting GRR activities addressing relevant issues if observed.
• Preparation and submission of the PSW- coordinating all PSW documents with other departments. Review those documents with customer.

Essential Skills

To understand and analyse customer’s requirements & expectations thoroughly, Responsible for coordinating with Customer, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality Engineering for quality activities like PPAP, PSW submissions, gauges development, product assessments in each phase of new launch programs.

Support to comply with all QA Standards and Customer specific requirements.

Should be well verse of submissions and deliverables of Renault-Nissan customer.
