Job summary

TAPI is seeking a detail-oriented QC Technician for our Gajraula facility. The role focuses on handling GC, GCMS, and ICMS instruments, performing method transfer/validation, and ensuring calibration and data integrity in a GMP/GLP environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of API/pharma experience, an M.Sc. in Chemistry, and strong instrument troubleshooting skills. The position supports regulatory inspections and adheres to lab safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of API/pharma experience required.
  • M.Sc. in Chemistry is required.
  • Strong GMP/GLP knowledge and data integrity skills.
  • Proficiency with GC/ Empower software and instrument troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Handle GC instrument and GCMS/ICMS instruments.
  • Perform method transfer and method validation.
  • Calibrate and validate instruments/equipment; maintain logs.
  • Investigate deviations, OOS/OOT, alerts and chromatographic errors.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with procedures.
  • Support regulatory inspections and laboratory safety procedures.

Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to take on the role of QC Technician at our cutting‑edge manufacturing facility in Gajraula.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1 - Handle the GC instrument.
  • 2 - Handle the GCMS MS and ICMS instrument.
  • 3 - Performing Method transfer/ Method Validation
  • 4 - Calibration and validation of instruments / equipment’s.
  • 5 - Investigations of Deviations, OOS, OOT, Alert Limit, Action Limit and Atypical Analytical Test results
  • 6 - Instrument daily Calibration as: pH meter, Analytical balance.
  • 7 - Should be skilled to handled regulatory inspection.
  • 8 - Follow the defined safety procedure during day to day activity in laboratory.
  • 9 - Maintenance of spares/accessories of all laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • 10 - Reporting of Deviations, Chromatographic Errors and LIR (If any).
  • 11 - To ensure compliance to the policy and procedure requirements on Data integrity.
  • 12 - To ensure compliance to the policy and procedure requirements on Data integrity.
  • 13 - Ensure maintenance of logbooks, Inspection lot number register and all relevant registers in the laboratory
  • 14 - Any other job assigned by Manager Quality Control.
Minimum Required Skills
  • Solid understanding of Quality Control procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).
  • Good understanding of GC with Empower software.
  • Ability to handle instrument troubleshooting and follow documentation protocols.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have:

Experience Level: 3-6 Years

Industry Experience: API/Pharma Experience is required

Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry
