Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Control Execu¢ve based in Moradabad to manage product quality inspec¢ons across vendors. The candidate will be responsible for conduc¢ng vendor visits, carrying out pre-dispatch inspec¢ons, iden¢fying quality issues, ensuring adherence to approved product specica¢ons, and coordina¢ng with internal and vendor teams for correc¢ve ac¢ons. The role will primarily cover vendors in Moradabad, with planned travel to Delhi and Kanpur as required. The resource will be expected to manage QC coverage across assigned vendors and ensure ¢mely comple¢on of inspec¢ons before shipment dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-dispatch quality inspec¢ons at assigned vendor loca¢ons. Inspect products against approved samples, specica¢ons, drawings, quality standards and inspec¢on checklists.
• Check product dimensions, construc¢on, nish, workmanship, func¢onality, appearance, packaging and labelling, as applicable.
• Iden¢fy defects, devia¢ons and quality concerns during vendor inspec¢ons. Prepare and share inspec¢on reports with clear observa¢ons, photographs and recommenda¢ons.
• Coordinate with vendors for correc¢ve and preven¢ive ac¢ons (CAPA) on iden¢ed quality issues.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure correc¢ve ac¢ons are implemented before dispatch. Maintain proper records of vendor inspec¢ons, defects, rejec¢on/rework and quality performance.
• Support vendor quality improvement ini¢a¢ves and iden¢fy recurring quality issues. Conduct regular vendor visits based on shipment schedules and business priori¢es. Travel to Delhi and Kanpur once or twice a month, or as required, for vendor inspec¢ons.
• Coordinate with the internal sourcing, merchandising and opera¢ons teams regarding inspec¢on status and shipment readiness.
• Ensure that products meet the dened quality requirements before dispatch.
• Support development and implementa¢on of product-specic QC checklists and SOPs.
• Provide feedback to the internal team on vendor capability, recurring defects and quality risks.
• Support training and knowledge transfer on product-specic quality requirements, wherever required.

Key Requirements

• 25 years of experience in Quality Control / Vendor Quality / Manufacturing Quality. Experience in conduc¢ng vendor/factory inspec¢ons and pre-dispatch inspec¢ons. Good understanding of inspec¢on processes, sampling, defect iden¢ca¢on and quality documenta¢on.
• Ability to understand product specica¢ons and iden¢fy devia¢ons.
• Strong a¢en¢on to detail.
• Good communica¢on and coordina¢on skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage mul¢ple vendors.
• Willingness to travel to vendor loca¢ons as required.
• Prociency in MS Excel and basic repor¢ng/documenta¢on.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home d©cor, handicra¢s, hardgoods, furniture, lifestyle products, tex¢les or similar consumer products will be preferred.
