Job summary

Shri Bharatvarshiya Digamber Jain Mahasabha is seeking a Quality Inspector with a Mechanical Engineering background to perform day-to-day quality inspections of materials, in-process production, and finished products. The role requires accurate documentation, adherence to drawings and standards, and collaboration with production and QC teams.

Candidate should have at least 2 years in Quality Control, plus strong Excel/Word skills and familiarity with engineering drawings and measuring

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Control.
• Good computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with production and QC teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day quality inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Carry out inspection as per approved drawings, specifications, standards, and quality procedures.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Assist in maintaining QC records, calibration records, and inspection checklists.
• Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Support senior QC personnel during customer inspections and third-party inspections.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials and products.
