Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python. You will ensure software quality by executing UI and API tests, developing reusable libraries, and integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on experience in Selenium and Python, familiarity with PyTest/Robot Framework, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Selenium automation.
• Minimum 2 years in Python scripting.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (PyTest/Robot/unittest).
• Experience in API testing using Postman/REST Assured.
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML/XML/JSON and test reporting tools.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have 47 years of experience in the software testing field, with at least 3 years in Selenium automation and 2 years in Python scripting. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, ensuring the highest level of software quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Python.
• Develop reusable test frameworks and libraries.
• Perform UI and API testing, validate data, and automate regression test cases.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team to identify test requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Must-Have Skills :

• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver (min 3 years)
