Responsibilities

• Quality Management: Monitor processes to ensure products meet specifications and standards; maintain QMS documentation and records; inspect materials and labs for conformity.
• Supplier Quality Control: Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery; ensure raw materials meet quality standards and maintain records.
• Training and Support: Train employees on quality standards; provide technical support to management on quality issues.
• Coordination: Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Sales to optimize supply chain and meet delivery timelines.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

(i) Quality Management:

• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
• Evaluate and improve the existing quality management system.
• Maintain quality control documentation and records.
• Inspection and Testing:
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they conform to specifications.
• Conduct tests and inspections at various stages of production.
• Verify the accuracy of analyzers and test equipment.

(ii)Supplier Quality Control:

• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery date.
• Ensure raw materials from suppliers meet quality standards.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain inspection and test records.
• Prepare and maintain engineering design drawings and shop drawings.
• Ensure all quality control documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.

(iii)Training and Support:

• Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
• Provide technical support to management on quality-related matters.

(iv) Coordination:

• Coordinate with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Sales to ensure effective supply chain management.
• Schedule production stages to minimize costs and meet delivery timeframes.
