Job summary

New Leaf Retail Technologies Private Limited seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance leader to oversee end-to-end testing and certification of consumer products. You will drive product validation, environmental testing, and compliance with BIS/IS standards while coordinating with external labs for certification.

The role focuses on identifying recurring quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and standardizing quality systems across products and processes with supplier collaboration.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Experience: 7-10 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product validation, life testing, safety testing and environmental testing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable BIS, IS standards, regulatory and product- safety requirements.
• Maintain technical specifications, test reports and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with external laboratories for certification and compliance testing.
• Own the end-to-end quality and testing of assigned products, from product development and validation through market launch and post-launch improvement.
• Identify recurring product-quality issues and develop corrective actions.
• Convert customer complaints into actionable product improvement requirements.
• Implement quality systems and standardization across products and processes.
• Establish monthly failure-rate and defect dashboards.
• Work directly with suppliers on quality issues.
• Conduct inspection of every production lot at the supplier end before dispatch to ensure compliance with approved product specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure quality improvements are implemented at the supplier end.
• Maintain inspection records and monitor supplier quality trends to identify recurring issues.
