Job summary

Data for Public Good is seeking a QA Tester to join our team for rigorous testing of Android and iOS mobile applications. The role includes manual and automated testing using Appium, with collaboration across developers and product teams to ensure high quality releases.

Responsibilities include creating test cases, executing diverse testing types, and developing Appium scripts. Familiarity with Jira/TestRail and API testing with Postman is a plus in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Required Skills

• Strong Android & iOS mobile testing experience.
• Knowledge of ADB/Logcat, Android Studio, Xcode, and Simulator.
• Understanding of STLC, SDLC, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.

Good to Have

• Selenium/Cypress or web testing experience.
• API testing with Postman/REST Assured.
• CI/CD knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise/Fastlane).
• Basic performance/load testing knowledge.
