Job summary

AiSensy in Gurugram, India, is hiring a QA Engineer to lead backend testing, API testing, and automation for our cloud-based SaaS platform. You will ensure data integrity, performance, and release readiness across multi-tier microservices.

Must-have skills include Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI; experience with scalable distributed systems. You will own QA metrics, build automation suites with Mocha, JUnit, Selenium, and collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product managers in Agile sprints.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Backend Testing and API Testing & Automation.
• Proficiency with Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI.
• Experience testing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on with frameworks like Mocha, JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Experience in testing web applications/cloud-based SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution across backend, APIs, and performance layers.
• Perform detailed backend testing, ensuring seamless data flow and business logic validation.
• Conduct robust API testing and automation using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI.
• Assess the performance, scalability, and resiliency of large-scale systems, APIs, and backend services.
• Contribute to building and maintaining automation test suites using Mocha, JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product managers in Agile sprints.
• Validate end-to-end system behavior in multi-tier, microservices-based cloud architectures.
• Proactively identify test gaps, performance bottlenecks, and quality risks.
• Own and report QA metrics, test coverage, and release readiness to stakeholders.
