Job summary

Omni Recruit Private Limited in Pune is seeking a QA engineer who will own the end-to-end quality process, from identifying today’s issues to shaping future prevention systems. You’ll be the first dedicated QA, defining testing, release, and scaling strategies for the team.

You will focus on end-to-end QA, manual testing, and building automation with Playwright as the product matures, reporting clear bugs and driving quality standards in a fast-moving early-stage environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of QA experience on web applications.
• Strong manual testing instincts and understanding of the product before automating.
• Experience with or willingness to own Playwright-based automation.
• Clear bug reports with good severity judgment and systematic approach.

Responsibilities

• Own the full QA process including manual testing, release verification, and regression coverage.
• Map critical user flows, identify gaps, and work with developers to prioritise fixes.
• Build a test suite and release checklist as the team standard before deployment.
• Progressively automate regression coverage using Playwright as the product matures.

Were looking for a QA engineer who takes ownership of quality end-to-end from finding whats broken today to building the systems that prevent it tomorrow. Youll be the first dedicated QA on the team, which means youll shape how we test, ship, and scale.

WHAT YOULL DO:

Own the full QA process manual testing, release verification, regression coverage. Map critical user flows, identify gaps, and work closely with the developer to prioritise and fix issues. Build a test suite and release checklist that becomes the teams standard before every deployment. Progressively automate regression coverage using Playwright as the product matures. Be the quality gate between development and users

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
