Job summary

FinacPlus in Bengaluru is hiring a hands-on Automation Engineer (3–5 years) to build production-grade test automation frameworks for enterprise mortgage platforms. This role demands engineering depth, framework ownership, and system-level thinking across UI, API, and service layers.

You will enable shift-left quality, continuous testing, and production stability in a cloud-native, microservices environment, collaborating with frontend and product teams while mentoring juniors and driving

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are hiring a hands-on Automation Engineer (3–5 years) to build and scale production-grade test automation frameworks for enterprise mortgage platforms.

This role is not execution-only QA—it requires engineering depth, framework ownership, and system-level thinking. You will design and drive automation architecture across UI, API, and service layers, ensuring reliability of high-volume, workflow-driven financial systems.

You will work closely with engineering teams to enable shift-left quality, continuous testing, and production stability in a cloud-native, microservices environment.

• Working knowledge of Playwright CLI/MCP and a foundational understanding of how AI/LLM models work, to effectively use AI-assisted automation tooling.
• Design modular, reusable, and maintainable automation architecture (POM, fixtures, service abstractions, utilities)
• Automate complex, real-world workflows across mortgage lifecycle:
• Customer onboarding
• Loan lifecycle events
• Enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops
• Build and maintain:
• UI regression suites
• Integration/E2E test coverage
• Improve test reliability and execution performance:
• Parallel execution
• Flaky test reduction
• Smart test selection strategies
