Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Python, Robot Framework, and Appium to design and maintain end-to-end automation across embedded, mobile, and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes test framework development, CI/CD integration, and system-level E2E testing.

You will collaborate with product teams to ensure quality throughout development. Expected is strong debugging, reporting, and teamwork skills, within a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Robot Framework, Appium, Mobile Test Automation.
• 4 to 7 years of QA Automation experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Python development experience for automation testing.
• Experience in designing, developing, and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins (CI/CD), Git, Jira, Confluence
• Experience with debugging, defect management, and test reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications based on requirements and manual test cases.
• Develop reusable Robot Framework keywords and Python-based automation utilities.
• Automate test scenarios for mobile applications using Appium.
• Execute and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Analyze test execution results, investigate failures, log defects, and validate fixes.
• Perform system-level and end-to-end (E2E) testing across integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and automation best practices.
