Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an Architect (Test Automation) to design large-scale TA solutions and drive automation strategies across projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders, create reusable TA frameworks, and guide tool selection to improve quality and delivery timelines.

The role emphasizes hands-on architecture reviews, pre-sales involvement, and ongoing optimization of testing practices across geographies, leveraging GenAI capabilities and ML-based testing approaches.

Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years of IT experience.
• Knowledge of GenAI tools, testing AI/ML based systems, using LLMs, MCPs, RAG, and evaluating Agents through DeepEval/Ragas.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C#, .NET, or Python).
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Understanding of industry trends and best practices.
• Proactive leadership in architecture engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design large-scale TA solutions with deep technical details.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify requirements.
• Create and maintain TA frameworks, solutions, or shared formats for projects.
• Define and implement comprehensive test automation strategies (roadmap, tools, framework, approach).
• Create and maintain documentation for automation processes and configurations.
• Evaluate and select test automation tools for different purposes.
• Oversee testing efforts (functional, integration, regression, performance).
• Monitor quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, release cycle times).
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes and techniques.
• Perform architecture reviews and audits.
• Engage in pre-sale activities (proposals, RFPs, RFIs, demos).
• Communicate with customers during solution design/implementation.
