Job summary

Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking a technically skilled professional to own the Global Supplier Quality and Development Portal in Pune.

You will collaborate with the SQD Head and cross-functional teams to enhance usability, automate workflows, and pull data from SAP and ERP systems within BCx. The role also focuses on expanding CoPQ/NCR-based reporting, developing KPIs and Pareto charts, and supporting PPAP process rollout across global teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical degree or equivalent with experience in quality/procurement domains.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and data analysis.
• Experience in SAP-based reporting and PPAP-related processes would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global Supplier Quality and Development Portal and drive usability, functionality, and process adherence.
• Automate portal processes and integrate data from SAP and ERP systems.
• Develop KPIs, Pareto charts and CoPQ/NCR reporting tools with global data teams.
• Support rollout of PPAP processes and GPQ/Gate 4 activities.

• Owner of the Global Supplier Quality and Development Portal:
  
  
  
  • Working with the Global SQD Head and Community to understand necessary improvements for usability, functionality, and process adherance.
  
  
  • Automating the portal wherever possible.
  
  
  • Pulling data from mulitple sources such as SAP and other related ERP systems within BCx.
  
  
  • Maintaining the portal with input from the team regarding ease of use, functionality, and improvements in layout.
  
  
  • Creating folder structure, linked to the portal for traceability of relevant docments.
  
  
  • Updating Global SQD teams and community with updates and iprovements, as well as actively collecting information for contiued improvement and maintenance
  
  
  
  


• Data Management:
  
  
  
  • Working with the Global SQD Head and Community as well as closely with cross-functional / interdepartmental data analysis experts to improve and expand CoPQ and NCR-based reporting tools for SQD use.
  
  
  • Introduction / improvement of necessary measurements for project and process improvement sortable KPIs as well as Pareto charts for project definition and priority asetting such as CoPQ, Scrap Rate, NCR quantity, FPY, etc. together with global and local data management teams.
  
  
  
  


• Process Support and Maintenance:
  
  
  
  • Understanding and improvement of SQD-owned Processes including Gate 4, First Article Inspection (FAI).
  
  
  • Support the rollout of PPAP process within BCx.
  
  
  
  


• Supporting tasks:
  
  
  
  • Align and support of other process and data managers to streamline global BCx roll outs.
  
  
  • Support of SQD teams locally and globally in tool and process usage.

Education, Experience And Languages

Competent co-worker with experience and / or education good technical knowledge of IT tools, ideally with a quality and/or procurement backgound.

• University Degree / HF in Technical subject (Mechanical or similar).


• Education and / or practical experience in heavy engineering products industry with different products and systems.


• Education, training, and/or experience in Project Management will be of benefit.


• Experience / knowledge of working in SAP-Environment.


• Experience / knowledge of use of Microsoft Office tools including PowerBI, SharePoint, Lists, etc.


• Fluent in English (verbal, reading and writing).


• Any other language skills of added advantage.
