Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. seeks a QA & Supplier Development specialist to monitor the quality of parts from suppliers and implement improvement plans with BCx and technical experts. Regular supplier audits and QA support across the global supply chain are key responsibilities.

You will collaborate with BCAG, Operational Excellence, and development teams to minimize quality costs and ensure compliance with ISO standards. English skills required; German is a plus.

Qualificações

• Completed education in Mechanical Engineering or Machining.
• Advanced technical training in quality assurance is desirable.
• Experience related to supplier development is required.
• Experience in Quality Control (measurement technology) is desirable.
• Knowledge of country-specific regulations (ATEX; DGRL; MRL; GOST) is desirable.
• Knowledge about working with classification societies (DNV, GL, Lloyds, ABS, RINA, BV) is desirable.
• Knowledge of destructive/non-destructive material testing.
• Knowledge of norms and standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001).
• Good PC skills for MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SAP (QM, MM) and WAY is desirable.
• Good written and spoken English; German is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze deviation reports for supplier parts to detect trends and actions.
• Define action plans for quality improvement with suppliers and BCAG experts.
• Conduct regular supplier audits (QMS/EMS/OHS/Process) at suppliers.
• Support Global Supply Chain Development in auditing and approving new suppliers.
• Support local Operations in QA and QC matters.
• Train and support Audit pool in BCx.
• Assist Head of Global Supply Chain Development in supplier performance appraisals and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities And Tasks

The aim of this position is to monitor the Quality of products delivered to BCx by its suppliers. Based on this monitoring the SQAE suggests and implements improvement plans together with the suppliers and BCAG technical experts to minimize the Quality Costs for BCx and maintain the Quality of Products as required by Burckhardt Compression Group:

• Monitor and analyze the deviation reports for parts supplied by suppliers to detect trends and necessary actions.
• Define action plan for quality improvement (reduction of deviations) together with suppliers, BCAG technical experts and Operational excellence as required and monitor the same.
• Conduct regular supplier audits (QMS/EMS/OHS/Process/Special Process) at suppliers as part of Quality improvement and monitoring.
• Support Business Development group of Global Supply Chain Development in auditing and approving new suppliers in the global supplier market.
• Support local “Operations” in QA & QC related matters.
• Train and support Audit pool in BCx.
• Support to Head of Global Supply Chain Development in Supplier Performance appraisals & Qualifications.

Education, Experience And Languages
