Job summary

TechnipFMC, Hyderabad-based, seeks a Quality professional to perform supplier/internal record checks and authorize shipments per project requirements.

The role involves coordinating non-conformances, interfacing with global teams, and using SAP/Intelex to manage quality data and NCRs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years in Quality function (assurance/control).
• Thorough technical understanding of API, ISO, ASME, ASTM, NORSOK, DNV standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks of supplier/internal manufacturing records to authorize shipment.
• Communicate non-conformance findings to stakeholders; record in SAP/Intelex.
• Drive non-conformances through SAP/Intelex lifecycle (create/coordinate/closure).
• Coordinate supplier pre-manufacturing record approvals via eSMDR tool SAP.
• Utilize SAP/ECM and databases to create/modify quality notifications and manage documents.

Job description

Job Purpose

1. Ensure the highest level of quality in our products by performing Quality checks of the Supplier/Internalmanufacturing records according to PO, Industry, Engineering Project Requirements.
2. Responsible for identifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies in technical specifications, drawings, testingmethods, and Supplier/Internal manufacturing records.
3. This includes complex technical review of various Test certificates and reports to make decision onAuthorization of Supplier and TechnipFMC Parts Shipment.
4. Work within existing systems towards resolving the Supplier and TechnipFMC Non-Conformance Report -by Review, Creation, Coordination and Closure activities.
5. Work with Global SMEs to check and approve the Supplier pre-production procedure approvals.
6. Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Plant Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Delivery and Projectteam to ensure Quality and Delivery targets are achieved.

Job Description

1. Perform Quality checks of Supplier/Internal manufacturing records to authorize the shipment ofparts according to engineering project requirements.
2. Communicate non-conformance findings to the internal external stakeholders and record them inSAP/Intelex
3. Drives supplier/internal Non-conformances report creation/coordination/closure throughSAP/Intelex.
4. Work with subject matter expert, project client to get the supplier pre-manufacturing recordsapproval through eSMDR tool SAP
5. Using the SAP/ECM and database systems facilitates to make create or modify Quality notifications.Also to upload and download documents using the same SAP platform.
6. Execute new scope of work within the team
7. Maintain /share Lessons learnt or Best Practices
8. Attend internal stakeholders meetings to address non conformances.
9. May participate in process standardization activities. Recommend process improvements to increaseefficiency and reduce cost.
10. May execute root cause analysis(RCA). Work on Containment, Corrective Preventive Actions(CAPA).
11. May Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances
12. May support as Point of contact for a small region/plant and is responsible for managing communication team manager (region/plant) and assign work to a new joiners mentor them
13. May Support in monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics Developing and coordinating root causeanalysis and corrective action plans
14. May support to Identify report errors in engineering requirements

You are meant for this job if:

1. Bachelor of Engineering/Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
2. Minimum 2 Years of Experience in Quality Function. (Assurance/Control)
3. Shall have thorough Technical Understanding on Industry Standards (API, ISO, ASME, ASTM,
4. NORSOK, DNV), Engineering practices, Manufacturing techniques, Material Engineering, Destructiveand Non-destructive Testing, Measuring Instruments, and Engineering Drawing.
5. Shall be able to identify and understand the technical details of various certificates and reports associatedwith Manufacturing Processes and Testing of materials.
6. Hands on experience in complex review of Reports related to various Manufacturing and SpecialProcesses such as Non-Destructive Examination (PT, MT, UT, PAUT, RT), Heat Treatment, Welding,Coating, etc.
7. Shall be able to read, interpret make decision on acceptance of various reports as per the Industry/Engineering Requirements/Project Requirements.
8. Shall be able to read, and interpret Engineering Drawing requirements related to Dimensions, GD T,Welding, Coating, Lifting, and Markings.
9. Thorough experience in using various applications for the day-to-day execution Outlook (email),Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) and SAP/ERP (any other relevant).
10. Shall be able to demonstrate understanding of steps involved in resolving Non-Conformance Report
    Process.
11. Ability to demonstrate the understanding of Quality Tools used in problem solving.
12. Shall have Good Communication skills to work with Global Functional teams.
13. Flexibility to work in different shifts based on the need (Global regions: US/ER)
