Raghava Projects is seeking a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS-MEP) with 8 to 10 years of experience to lead cost management, estimation, and contract administration of MEP works in high-rise buildings. The candidate should understand HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems and be proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, Bluebeam, and Candy.

The role focuses on budgeting, timely billing, and cost control, coordinating with procurement and site teams to ensure accurate quantities

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in MEP quantity surveying for high-rise building projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying tools like MS Excel, AutoCAD, and CostX / Bluebeam / Candy.
• Familiarity with local codes, IS standards, and contractual practices (FIDIC knowledge is a plus).
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors.

Aufgaben

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEP works based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare project cost plans and budgets specific to MEP scope (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting).
• Assist in preparing tender documents, scope of works, and technical BOQs.
• Evaluate MEP subcontractor quotations, analyze rates, and assist in vendor negotiations.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure material and subcontractor selection aligns with budget and quality.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing subcontractor work orders and contracts for MEP services.
• Monitor project budgets, track actual costs, and report variances.
• Manage and prepare MEP variation claims, cost impact analyses, and rate build-ups.
• Evaluate subcontractor change orders and ensure cost compliance.
• Prepare and verify MEP subcontractor bills and client bills related to MEP scope.
• Certify progressive payments and ensure alignment with actual site work.
• Coordinate with finance and accounts team for timely processing of invoices.
• Collaborate with site engineers, planning teams, and consultants to ensure proper quantity tracking and progress updates.
• Conduct periodic site visits to verify measurements and validate progress claims.
• Maintain and update logs for MEP quantities, variations, billing status, and contractual correspondences.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS-MEP) with 8 to10 years of experience in handling cost management, estimation, and contract administration of MEP works in high-rise buildings. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting), experience in high-rise project execution, and strong commercial acumen to ensure accurate budgeting, timely billing, and cost control.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
  
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in MEP quantity surveying for high-rise building projects.
  
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
  
• Proficiency in quantity surveying tools like MS Excel, AutoCAD, and CostX / Bluebeam / Candy (preferred).
  
• Familiarity with local codes, IS standards, and contractual practices (FIDIC knowledge is a plus).

Preferred Experience:

• Worked on Highrise Buildings of 20+ floors.
