Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking a QMS Process Analyst in Chennai to monitor and optimize SDLC/SSDLC processes across software projects. The role ensures ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 14001 compliance and aligns with CMMI practices.

You will drive audits, document controls, and collaborate with delivery and security teams. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in quality management within IT/software, strong SDLC knowledge, and relevant ISO certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Management or Process Governance within an IT/Software organization.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/SSDLC and ISO 9001 framework; CMMI exposure.
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001 (Security)/ITGC and ISO 14001.
• Hands-on knowledge certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; ISO 27001 or ISO 14001 Internal Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Audit SDLC/SSDLC aligned software/hardware development projects against governance frameworks.
• Maintain and improve ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 14001 standards; support audits and customer assessments.
• Track audit findings, root cause, corrective actions, and post-audit records.
• Create, update, and govern SOPs, policies, and process assets in line with ISO requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Delivery, Information Security, HR, Admin, and IT teams for compliance across operations.

Job Purpose

The QMS Process Analyst works within the Software Engineering and Information Security to monitor and optimize software development projects. This role ensures process compliance across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC/SSDLC) and maintains the companys ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 27001 (ISMS), and ISO 14001 (EMS) management systems, incorporating CMMI best practices.
Experience: 25 Years, Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• SDLC & Agile Process Governance:
• Audit software/ hardware development projects against SDLC/SSDLC frameworks; Track Agile/Waterfall process mapping with Risks & Metrics.
• ISO Compliance & Audits:
• Maintain, enhance and continual improve ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 14001 standards implementation; plan and execute internal audits, support external certification and customer audits.
• Audit follow up & Compliance:
• Track Audit findings, Root cause, Corrective Actions, and Post audit records keeping.
• Documentation Management
• Act as Document Controller to create, update, and govern SOPs, policies, and process assets in compliance of ISO 9001, ISO 27001 & ISO 14001.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Coordinate & Consult to Project Delivery, Information Security, HR, Admin, and IT teams in alignment of quality, Information Security and Environmental Compliance for business operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years in Quality Management or Process Governance within an IT / Software organization.
• Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of Project SDLC / SSDLC, ISO 9001 framework and CMMI process exposure.
• Hands-on Knowledge: ISO 9001 and/or 2701 (Security) / ITGC and ISO 14001 (Environment).
• Hands-on Knowledge Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (Preferred); ISO 27001 or ISO 14001 Internal Auditor.

Skills: Strong in Quality & Security audit capability, Agile Methodology, Risk & metrics analysis, Audit Report writing, Process document writing and good in internal & cross-team communication.
