Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 12 years of QA/QC Mechanical experience in EPC/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection, NDT methods, and materials standards.
• Familiarity with ASME, AWS, IS codes and international quality standards.
• Proven track record managing QA/QC teams on large construction sites.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QA/QC Mechanical activities across construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct inspections on welding, structural steel, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Review and approve material test certificates, welding procedures, and inspection reports.
• Implement and monitor quality control plans, ITPs, and checklists.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, certifications, and client approvals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance processes.
