Job summary

Consolidated Analytics, Inc. in Chennai seeks a detail-oriented mortgage document reviewer to join our underwriting team. You will analyze Loan Applications, Credit Reports, Appraisal Reports, and related documents to assess borrower eligibility and ensure compliance with lender guidelines.

The role requires strong English communication, solid analytical skills, and the ability to work in shifts. You will verify data in the LOS, identify discrepancies, and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze mortgage-related documents, including loan applications, credit reports, appraisal reports, AVMs, mortgage statements, payoff statements, hazard and flood insurance, title commitments, notes, and related deeds.
• Underwriting review process knowledge (4C's) to assess borrower eligibility and identify potential credit risks.
• Perform document verification and ensure accurate data entry and validation within the LOS.
• Ensure that all loans meet lender guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies, compliance issues, or data inconsistencies in documents.

Responsibilities/Expertise:

• Strong knowledge in reviewing and analyzing mortgage-related documents, including Loan Applications, Credit Reports, Appraisal Reports, Automated Valuation Models (AVMs), Mortgage Statements, Payoff Statement, Hazard and Flood Insurance, Title Commitment, Note, Mortgage/Deed of Trust, Warranty Deed, and Quit Claim Deed.
• In-depth knowledge of the underwriting review process in 4c's, with the ability to assess borrower eligibility and identify potential credit risks.
• Perform comprehensive document verification and ensure accurate data entry and validation within the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Ensure that all loans meet lender guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies, compliance issues, or data inconsistencies in document.
