Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze mortgage-related documents including loan applications, credit reports, appraisal reports, AVMs, mortgage statements, and related reports.
• Assess borrower eligibility and identify potential credit risks during initial underwriting.
• Verify documents and ensure accurate data entry in the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Conduct preliminary borrower assessments based on documentation to determine initial loan eligibility.
• Order third party reports such as AVMs, property detail reports, open lien reports, and bankruptcy PACER reports.

Reports to: Team Lead/Asst. Manager

Responsibilities/Expertise:

• Strong knowledge in reviewing and analyzing mortgage-related documents, including Loan Applications, Credit Reports, Appraisal Reports, Automated Valuation Models (AVMs), Mortgage Statements, Property Detail Reports, Open Lien Reports, and Bankruptcy PACER Reports.
• In-depth knowledge of the Initial underwriting review process, with the ability to assess borrower eligibility and identify potential credit risks.
• Perform comprehensive document verification and ensure accurate data entry and validation within the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Conduct preliminary borrower assessments based on the documentation to determine initial loan eligibility.
• Order third party reports AVMs, Property Detail Report, Open Lien Report, and Bankruptcy PACER Report.
