Job summary

Tvarur Oils & Fats in Tamil Nadu seeks a laboratory analyst to oversee analysis methods and equipment handling for raw materials, finished goods, and in-progress products as per the Quality Plan.

The role involves performing and approving batch-wise quality tests to ensure product quality, maintaining equipment per SOP, monitoring CCP & FSMS, ensuring lab hygiene, and supporting audits, root-cause analysis, and customer-facing trials.

Responsibilities

• Technical expertise for analysis and testing methods and equipment handling as per Quality Plan.
• Perform and approve batch-wise quality tests to ensure product quality per standards.
• Maintain all analytical equipment according to the schedule and SOP.
• Monitor CCP and FSMS.
• Ensure the Hygiene and cleanliness in the Laboratory.
• Identify improvement opportunities and bottlenecks to increase efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis for product variations and customer complaints; submit reports to Manager.
• Analyse market samples to identify improvement scope for existing products.
• Provide technical support to sales and customers; conduct product trials at customer sites as required.
• Complete paperwork related to analysis (Calibration Log, Finished Goods Log, Raw Materials Log, etc.).
• Participate actively in internal and external audits.
• Enforce strict safety measures.

• Proficiency to perform and approve batch wise and required number of various quality tests to ensure product quality is as per set standards and specifications.
• Maintain all analytical equipment according to the schedule and SOP.
• Monitoring CCP & FSMS.
• Ensure the Hygiene and cleanliness in the Laboratory.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and pinpoint bottleneck areas to further increase the work efficiency.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis for any product variation and customer complaints and to submit report of the same to Mngr.
• Analyse various market samples and analyse the scope of improvement in company's existing products.
• Offer technical support to sales team and customers and also to conduct product trials at customer's place as per business requirement.
• Ensure Completion of all paperwork related to the analysis (Calibration Log, Finished Goods Log, Raw Materials Log, etc.
• Active Participation in internal & external audits.
• Ensure Safety Measures are followed strictly.
