Job summary

Naukai E-hire in India seeks a quality control technician to support sampling, testing, and documentation in the plastic films lab. You will coordinate with production teams and ensure compliance with safety and ISO/BRC guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining test records, operating basic lab instruments, and logging data in Excel, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Academic background required: degree or diploma in chemistry/physics/chemical engineering/polymer science.
• Technical knowledge: basic understanding of polymer properties, testing equipment, and chemical/physical analysis methods.
• Computer skills: familiarity with MS Excel and data logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Sampling & Testing: collect and test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished films.
• Quality equipment handling: operate basic lab instruments such as UTM, MFI testers, COF testers, gloss/haze meters, moisture analyzers.
• Documentation: record test results, prepare COA data, maintain SOP records.
• Line coordination: report deviations to shift officers and coordinate with production teams to prevent defect leakage.
• Safety & compliance: follow plant safety rules and ISO/BRC guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

• Sampling & Testing: Collect and test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished BOPP/thermal/coated plastic films.
• Quality Equipment Handling: Use basic lab and physical testing instruments (such as Universal Testing Machines [UTM], Melt Flow Index [MFI] testers, coefficient of friction [COF] testers, gloss/haze meters, and moisture analyzers).
• Documentation: Record test results accurately, prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA) data, and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) records.
• Line Coordination: Report quality deviations immediately to shift officers and coordinate with production/slitting teams to prevent defect leakage.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to plant safety rules, ISO standards, and BRC/quality management guidelines.
