Job summary

White Force Outsourcing Services is seeking a QA Tester to run tests on new software to ensure programs meet specifications and requirements. You will identify issues, run debugging, and document defect details with clear reports.

You will work with developers to anticipate risks, maintain change logs, and develop/test plans, executing manual or automated test cases using Postman, SQL, qTest, or Zephyr.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Working knowledge of test management software and SQL.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Postman.

Responsibilities

Job Description for QA Tester

To run various tests on new software products to ensure that programs satisfy all specifications and requirements.

To identify any problems and run debugging programs to fix issues.

To run additional tests before products are issued for sale to consumers.

To record all defect details, creating and distributing reports outlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve these issues.

To maintain documentation, such as change logs, regarding software and application defects helps.

To recognize similar problems in the future and to provide quick resolution.

He/she should apply his knowledge early in the software development process.

He/She work closely with developers to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues before the new software is complete.

To help troubleshoot issues

To conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

To review and analyse system specifications

To develop effective strategies and test plans

To execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results

Evaluate product code according to specifications

Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Skills Required:
