Job summary

Data Eminence is seeking a remote QA Tester to contribute to the quality, reliability, and usability of software applications. You will work on test planning, test case execution, bug identification, functional and regression testing, and quality assurance processes.

The role involves collaborating with developers, product managers, and other teammates in an Agile environment. You will perform manual and API testing (Postman), track defects with Jira, and help with test automation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software testing or relevant projects.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with software development and testing lifecycles.
• Knowledge of manual testing techniques.
• Ability to write and execute test cases.
• Understanding of functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Selenium or Playwright is an advantage.
