Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Mid-Level QA Tester to execute test plans, identify defects, and ensure software quality. You will work with developers, PMs, and QA teammates to implement effective testing strategies and improve product reliability.

Responsibilities include creating detailed test plans, performing functional and regression tests, documenting defects, and providing testability feedback. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of software quality assurance experience.
• Strong QA methodologies, tools and processes understanding.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent understanding of DevOps.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, mobile testing and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand features and resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability.
• Ensure test coverage and maintain traceability matrices.
• Perform root cause analysis of identified issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Serve as a product expert and assist in various product configurations.
• Effectively interpret product specifications and supporting documentation.
• Understand our business and master all the modules of our various products.
• Field incoming application-specific questions, concerns, and break-fix related incidents.
• Perform hands‑on configuration of HCI products and relevant tools to successfully onboard clients, learn & follow HCI processes, and contribute to the completion of project tasks.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
