Job summary

Shadowfax Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a software tester with 2-6 years of experience to join our QA team. You will perform API testing, write test cases, and verify mobile apps built with Kotlin and Java across Android platforms.

The role requires strong SQL knowledge, familiarity with Postman, and experience using bug tracking and test management tools. You will collaborate across teams, prioritize tasks, and ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in software testing, preferably in product-based companies.
• Strong knowledge of API testing and basic SQL.
• Experience with Postman for API testing. Automation, Playwright.
• Proficiency in Jira for project tracking.
• Experience with Android mobile testing built on Kotlin and Java.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform API testing and validate data and APIs end-to-end.
• Utilize Postman for API testing and automate where applicable (Playwright).
• Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure test coverage.
• Utilize Jira to track issues and progress.
• Test Android apps developed with Kotlin and Java.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
