Job summary

Manpowergroup Services India is hiring a QA QC Officer for MEP projects in Nagothane, Maharashtra and Dahej, Gujarat. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring Project Quality Plans, ITPs, and ensuring compliance with drawings, codes, and client requirements.

You will lead stage-wise inspections of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems, manage MIRs, assist in supplier quality, witness testing, document QA dossiers, and drive NCR closing and CAPA actions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in MEP quality control at project sites.
• Exposure to large residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Project Quality Plan (PQP) and approved ITPs for MEP activities.
• Conduct stage-wise inspections for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Inspect incoming MEP materials and ensure compliance with approved submittals and BOQ.
• Witness testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities of MEP systems.
• Maintain quality records such as ITP checklists, inspection reports, test certificates, and as-built documents.
• Raise NCRs for deviations and track closure; support CAPA and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with construction, planning, and commissioning teams for quality compliance.

Contract Duration : 12 months Extendable on 3rd party payroll (Manpower Group)

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary :

To ensure quality control and assurance of MEP works at project sites by implementing, monitoring approved Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and relevant standards, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, codes, and client requirements. Minimum 7 to 8 Years experience required

Key Responsibilities :

Quality Control MEP Works

1. Implement and monitor Project Quality Plan (PQP) and approved ITPs for MEP activities.

2. Conduct stage-wise inspections for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.

3. Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Material & Vendor Quality

1. Inspect incoming MEP materials and ensure compliance with approved submittals and BOQ.

2. Maintain material inspection reports (MIRs) and coordinate with stores and site teams.

3. Assist in vendor / subcontractor quality assessments and inspections.

Testing & Commissioning Support

1.Witness testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities of MEP systems.

2.Ensure calibration of testing instruments and availability of test records.

3.Verify test reports, performance data, and compliance certificates.

Documentation & Records

1.Maintain quality records such as ITP checklists, inspection reports, test certificates, and as-built documents.

2.Support preparation and compilation of QA/QC dossiers for client handover.

3.Ensure timely submission of quality documents to clients/consultants.

NCR & Corrective Actions

1.Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations and track closure.

2.Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

3.Monitor rework and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Coordination & Client Interface

1.Coordinate with construction, planning, and commissioning teams for quality compliance.

2.Attend inspections with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies.

3.Support closure of punch points during inspections and handover.

Compliance & Standards

1.Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (IS, NBC, ASHRAE, IEC, NFPA, etc.).

2. Follow ISO 9001 quality procedures and project-specific quality requirements. Support Quality audits.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience

1. Diploma / bachelors degree in mechanical / electrical engineering.

2. (3 to 8 years of experience in MEP quality control at project sites.

3. Exposure to large residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.

4. Internal Auditor /Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015 (preferred).
