Job summary

Ashoka Builders in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Project Manager QA/QC to lead quality assurance and control activities for large-scale high-rise residential projects. The role requires hands-on oversight of structural, concrete, finishing and handover quality, ensuring compliance with quality plans and project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to G+30+ residential towers, with experience in Mivan/aluminium formwork and RMC/concrete quality control, driving IS/NBC 2016

Qualifications

• Proven QA/QC leadership experience in G+30 or higher residential high-rise projects.
• Strong exposure to Mivan / aluminium formwork systems.
• Strong knowledge of RMC and concrete quality control.
• Hands-on understanding of concrete mix design, cube testing, NDT and RMC plant audits.
• Knowledge of IS Codes and NBC 2016.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / QMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities across high-rise residential construction projects.
• Drive quality control for G+30+ residential towers, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Manage quality aspects of Mivan/aluminium formwork, RCC and concrete works.
• Monitor RMC and concrete quality, including mix design, cube testing, NDT and RMC plant quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, NBC 2016 and ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
• Develop, implement and monitor ITPs, QAPs, inspection checklists and quality procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections for structural works, waterproofing and finishing.
• Identify non-conformities and drive NCR closure, root-cause analysis and CAPA.
• Lead snagging, de-snaging and quality handover.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager QA/QC to lead quality assurance and quality control activities for large-scale high-rise residential projects. The role will be responsible for ensuring structural, concrete, finishing and handover quality across the project while driving compliance with applicable standards, approved quality plans and project specifications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in G+30 and above residential high‑rise projects, with specific exposure to Mivan/aluminium formwork and RMC/concrete quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities across high‑rise residential construction projects.
• Drive quality control for G+30+ residential towers, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Manage quality aspects of Mivan/aluminium formwork, RCC and concrete works.
• Monitor RMC and concrete quality, including mix design, cube testing, NDT and RMC plant quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IS Codes, NBC 2016 and ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
• Develop, implement and monitor ITPs, QAPs, inspection checklists and quality procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections for structural works, waterproofing, finishing and other critical construction activities.
• Identify non‑conformities and drive NCR closure, root‑cause analysis and CAPA.
• Conduct regular quality audits and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead snagging, de‑snagging and quality inspections prior to project handover.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Consultants, Contractors and Vendors to resolve quality‑related issues.
• Ensure quality documentation, inspection records, test reports and handover documentation are maintained accurately.
• Establish quality benchmarks and continuously improve construction quality across the project.

Mandatory Technical Expertise

Candidates must have:

• Proven QA/QC leadership experience in G+30 or higher residential high‑rise projects.
• Strong exposure to Mivan / aluminium formwork systems.
• Strong knowledge of RMC and concrete quality control.
• Hands‑on understanding of concrete mix design, cube testing, NDT and RMC plant audits.
• Knowledge of IS Codes and NBC 2016.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / QMS.
• Experience handling structural and finishing quality control.
• Strong experience in ITP, QAP, checklists, NCR, CAPA and quality audits.
• Experience managing snagging, de‑snagging and quality handover.
• Ability to lead QA/QC teams and coordinate with multiple project stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10 to 12 years of relevant construction QA/QC experience.
• Strong track record in premium residential high‑rise construction.
• Experience working with reputed developers, EPC/PMC organisations or established construction companies.
• Candidates with repeated experience across multiple high‑rise residential projects will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, documentation and problem‑solving skills.
