Job summary

Calibehr Business Support Services Pvt. Ltd. in Gujarat seeks an experienced QC professional to oversee extrusion, sheet, ROTO, compression and fabrication quality activities, ensuring compliance with standards and HR/statutory requirements.

You will drive in-process inspections and document control. Responsibilities include 5S, Kaizen, ISO 9001/ISO14001 related reporting, defect reduction, and timely communication of major rejections to production heads.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Post Graduate in Plastic processing or BE Mechanical/Chemical.
• 3–8 years experience in QC in plastics/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO14001 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor in-process inspection of Extruded Pipes & Sheet, ROTO molding, Compression & Fabrication.
• Monitor in-process inspection of PU Foam.
• Perform dimensional inspection of machine fittings per drawings.
• Conduct TPI inspection of ROTO, Compression and fabricated parts.
• Prepare Welder Qualification Records (WPS & PQR) as per standards.
• Update daily inspection reports and communicate major rejections to production HOD.
• Ensure marking stickers on finish products by production personnel.
• Issue final inspection reports and monitor in-house defects with corrective actions.
• Ensure 100% checking of critical fittings and RP material batch-wise inspection.
• Update ISO/BIS related records and ISO 9001/ISO14001 reports.

JOB PURPOSE:

- Monitoring and Ensuring all QC related activity of Extrusion, Sheet, ROTO, Compression & Fabrication.

- Compliance of all QC standard , HR requirement and Statutory requirement

ROLL AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• - Monitoring In-process inspection of Extruded Pipes & Sheet ,Roto molding, Compression & Fabrication parts
• - Monitoring In-process inspection of PU Foam
• - Dimensional inspection of all machine fittings as per drawings
• - TPI Inspection of ROTO, Compression and fabricated Parts
• - Preparation of Welder Qualification Record ( WPS & PQR ) as per standard
• - Daily update inspection report in soft copy to Manager
• - Daily communication of major rejection to concern production HOD through mail.
• - Daily first part approval report updating
• - Ensure Marking sticker on finish products by production person .
• - Final inspection report issue.
• - Closely monitor in-house defect and take action.
• - Critical fittings 100% check and stick sticker on fittings.
• - Monitoring the Inspection of RP material batch wise check.
• - ISO / BIS / related record to be update
• - ISO 9001 / ISO14001 related report update
• - Review of all three shift ok production and rejection in general shift
• - Defect monitoring and corrective action.
• - 5S responsibility.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR JOB

Qualification Post Graduate - Plastic processing / BE Mechanical , Chemical

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Skills: Plastic process knowledge, Testing equipment handling knowledge , Product testing knowledge , Measuring instrument handling , Inprocess Inspection, Raw material testing (MFI, Density, Moisture content).
