Job Description

A Lead QC Engineer for offshore oil and gas projects ensures all project activities, materials, and deliverables comply with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards. Responsibilities include developing quality plans, managing inspections (including vendor shop fabrication yards and offshore structures), overseeing non-conformance reports, and coordinating with clients and project teams to maintain quality throughout construction and commissioning.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project's Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure engineering deliverables, vendor documents, and construction activities comply with project specifications and standards.
• Oversee inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and construction work, including critical offshore structures like jackets and top sides.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs), ensuring timely closure and proper record filing.
• Coordinate with clients, third parties, and project teams to manage quality issues and facilitate audits.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits by clients or third parties.
• Ensure subcontractors and suppliers adhere to all quality requirements.
