De Nora in Ahmedabad is seeking a QA/QC professional to ensure inspection and testing per contract. You will prepare ITPs, review MDRs, and witness vendor inspections at the Dholera site, maintaining project quality records and punch lists.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA/QC for EPC projects in water/industrial plants, with ISO 9001 and codes knowledge. Travel to vendor works is expected as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 5+ years QA/QC in EPC projects, preferably water/wastewater or process plants.
• Hands-on in preparing inspection/test procedures and ITPs per contract.
• Experience reviewing vendor inspection plans and witnessing inspections.

Job Description

• Responsible for ensuring that all inspection and testing on the construction in accordance with standard and project specification as per contract.


• Prepare inspection and test procedure.


• Prepare relevant inspection and test procedure required as per contract.


• Review vendor inspection plans to ensure proper acceptance criteria and inspection points from applicable procedures, specifications, drawings, and codes are included.


• Prepare inspection and test reports as per project requirements


• Prepare and maintain project test package as per project requirement.


• Issue and maintaining project punch list until closer.


• Prepare project quality update for the project team and management.


• Reviewing vendor and supplier manufacturer data records (MDR) client submission.


• Regularly rising awareness of quality requirements of the project.


• Provide quality control training to relevant individual as required.


• Responsible to support project related on the MDL on the quality


• Prepare Project inspection and test record to full fill client requirement.


• Support to construction team for day-to-day activities with respect to quality functions.


• Witness inspection at vendor and supplier base on approved inspection and test plan.


• Compile project quality inspection and testing documentation for project handover

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.


• Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience in the EPC market, preferably in water and wastewater treatment or process plant construction.


• Hands-on experience preparing inspection and test procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) as per contract and project specifications.


• Proven experience reviewing vendor inspection plans and witnessing inspections at vendor and supplier works.


• Experience reviewing vendor Manufacturer Data Records (MDR) and client submissions, and supporting the MDL on quality.


• Hands-on experience preparing inspection and test reports, test packages and project inspection records for client requirements.


• Experience issuing and maintaining punch lists until closure, and compiling the quality documentation package for project handover.


• Knowledge of QA/QC for piping, mechanical equipment, welding, NDT and hydro testing, and civil works, with familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS and applicable codes (ASME, ASTM, IS).


• Communication: Strong skills in coordinating with the construction team, vendors and client, and in reporting quality status to the Project Manager and Quality Manager.


• Mobility: Willingness to be stationed at the Dholera site and to travel to vendor works when needed
