Job summary

AEE Overseas in India is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead garment QC activities across pre-production, in-line, and final inspections.

You will review samples, inspect fabrics and trims, monitor sewing and cutting quality, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions and SOPs to ensure compliance with standards. The role emphasizes root cause analysis of customer complaints and data-driven reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve pre-production samples (e.g., proto, fit, PP samples) to ensure quality and mass production readiness.
• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials like fabric (GSM, shrinkage, color consistency, and defects), trims, and accessories before they are used.
• Approve initial designs, patterns, and size sets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• In-line inspections during production to identify and correct defects (sewing quality, cutting accuracy, and color consistency).
• Monitor the performance of machines and processes to ensure they are consistent and meet quality parameters.
• Work with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Perform final inspections on completed garments to check for defects, proper fit, labeling accuracy, and overall quality before shipment.
• Ensure garments comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Verify final packed products meet all specifications. Develop and implement quality control processes and SOPs.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities to identify root causes and develop preventative strategies.
• Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Conduct internal audits of processes and facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Pre-production and material inspection Review and approve pre-production samples (e.g., proto, fit, PP samples) to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for mass production.

Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials like fabric (checking for GSM, shrinkage, color consistency, and defects), trims, and accessories before they are used.

Approve initial designs, patterns, and size sets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Production and in-line monitoring Conduct regular \"in-line\" inspections during the production process to identify and correct defects as they occur, such as sewing quality, cutting accuracy, and color consistency.

Monitor the performance of machines and processes to ensure they are consistent and meet quality parameters.

Work with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.

Final inspection and compliance Perform final inspections on completed garments to check for defects, proper fit, accurate labeling, and overall quality before shipment.

Ensure that all garments comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Verify that the final packed products meet all specifications. Quality management and problem-solving Develop and implement quality control processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
