Arrise solutions is looking to hire an experienced leader to lead a team of talented Quality Assurance (QA) engineers. You will be responsible for defining QA strategy, approach and execution in software product development projects, and developing, implementing and revising quality standards, tools and methods as per business needs.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of total experience with 5+ years in people management.
• BTech/BE/MCA or related field.
• Experience managing Manual testing, SaaS production monitoring, production incident response and debugging.
• Experience in QA Automation.
• Understanding of both front‑end and back‑end testing environments.
• Ability to work in an iterative, agile development environment.
• Advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognised best practices.
• Experience setting up test plans, test environments and working through the entire QA lifecycle from project kick‑off to release.
• Experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Jira and test case management tools such as X‑ray.
• Strong knowledge of QA process and release management process.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to highlight process deviations to stakeholders.
• Experience in games testing and gap identification.
• Knowledge of deployment processes using Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for defining QA strategy, approach and execution in development projects.
• Lead and direct the QA team.
• Focus on continuous QA improvements including use of appropriate testing tools, techniques and automation.
• Communicate QA vision to stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Possess excellent knowledge of risk management, risk identification and risk‑based testing.
• Direct development of QA strategy, methodology, discipline and framework.
• Build and maintain relationships with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain delivery quality.
• Build and maintain quality standards and enforce technical and testing standards.
• Responsible for resource assignments, recruiting, SQA assessments, training and performance review.
• Create an environment that allows for individual growth, solutions flexibility and innovation.
• Gather and present testing metrics and activities to key stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in software engineering practices across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Engineering, DevOps, Tech Support & Product.
• Act as escalation point for all testing and quality assurance matters.
• Hire, retain and develop top‑tier QA and test‑focused engineers.
