Persistent Systems Limited is seeking a QA Lead Engineer to drive quality engineering across enterprise applications and digital platforms. The role emphasizes test automation, API validation, and data integrity, with leadership of QA teams and collaboration across product, development, and DevOps.

You will design automation frameworks, mentor engineers, and guide quality strategy to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable software deliveries in a hybrid work setup.

Responsabilidades

• Lead QA strategy, test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting across enterprise applications.
• Define and implement quality engineering best practices, testing standards, and governance frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web Testing, API Testing, Database Testing, Integration Testing.
• Lead functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing initiatives.
• Drive performance, security, reliability, and production-readiness testing.
• Validate complex business workflows, data integrity, system integrations, and application functionality.
• Build and enhance test automation suites to improve test coverage and release efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews of test automation scripts and testing assets.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, and DevOps teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Manage test environments, test data, and release validation activities.
• Track quality metrics, risks, defects, and testing progress.
• Support CI/CD implementation and automated quality gates.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote continuous learning within the quality engineering team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and quality engineering innovation.

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead Engineer to drive quality engineering initiatives across enterprise applications and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation, API testing, database validation, quality assurance processes, and technical leadership. In this role, you will lead quality strategy, establish automation frameworks, mentor QA teams, and collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of secure, reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

What You'll Do:

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 10–12 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, and QA Leadership roles.
• Strong experience leading QA teams for enterprise and mission-critical applications.
• Ability to define quality strategies and testing roadmaps.
• Experience managing testing deliverables, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience designing reusable and scalable automation frameworks.
• Ability to improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.
• Extensive experience in API Testing, API Automation, Service Testing, Integration Testing.
• Hands‑on experience with Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, API Validation Tools.
• Experience testing RESTful and microservices‑based architectures.
• Strong understanding of request/response validation and API security testing.
• Strong SQL and database testing expertise.
• Experience with Data Validation, Data Reconciliation, Data Integrity Testing, Backend Testing.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for validation and reporting.
• Experience testing transactional and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of Performance Testing, Load Testing, Stress Testing, Security Testing.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Understanding of application security and vulnerability testing concepts.
• Experience validating non‑functional requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Azure DevOps.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of DevOps and shift‑left testing practices.
• Experience supporting automated deployment validation.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based testing environments.
• Knowledge of Service Virtualization, Test Data Management, Containerized Environments, Microservices Testing.
• Understanding of distributed architectures and cloud‑native applications.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong ability to collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders.
