Job summary

Faveo in India is seeking a fresh Quality Analyst to join our team for the Faveo HELPDESK product. You will learn quickly while contributing to manual and automated testing efforts.

You will review UI, usability, perform web security and performance testing, write test cases in PHP (Laravel knowledge a plus), and document results using open source tools and Git/Github.

Qualifications

• Should have completed testing course from reputed institute
• Candidates from engineering, computer science and information technology background preferred
• Team player, friendly, self-motivated, quick & self learner and able to work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Test the web application manually and with open source testing tools
• Document test results and report defects via Github
• Review Faveo for UI, usability and overall quality
• Perform web security testing and performance testing
• Write manual test cases; PHP unit test cases in Laravel are a plus
• Test the www.faveohelpdesk.com product and ensure regression coverage

This position is open for Freshers who have completed course in software testing. You will be working with an amazing team and will have tremendous opportunities to learn and grow quickly. We are looking for Quality Analyst to work on our product Faveo HELPDESK

Who are we looking for?

• Proficient in Software testing

Role & responsibilities

• Work on www.faveohelpdesk.com
• Review Faveo in terms of UI, usability etc.
• Web security testing
• Performance testing
• Write Unit test cases in PHP, if candidate can write unit test cases in Laravel framework it will be an advantage
• Write manual test cases
• Test the web application manually
• Test the web application using open source testing tools
• Document the test result
• We use Github for issue management

Technologies you will work on

• Manual testing
• Automated testing

Tools you will use

• Git – Github
• Basic IDE usage of any of these: NetBeans/Dreamweaver/Brackets/Sublime
• Selenium

Candidates with prior knowledge of these tools will be preferred
