Job summary

Faveo is seeking a Quality Analyst fresher to join the team and learn quickly while contributing to product quality. You will test the Faveo HELPDESK product, review UI/usability, perform security and performance testing, and write both manual and unit tests. Familiarity with PHP/Laravel and open source tools is a plus.

Ideal candidates have completed a testing course and hold a background in engineering/computer science. Team-oriented, self-motivated individuals will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Should have completed testing course from reputed institute.
• Candidates from engineering, computer science and information technology background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Faveo in terms of UI, usability etc.
• Perform web security testing.
• Conduct performance testing.
• Write unit test cases in PHP; Laravel unit tests a plus.
• Write manual test cases and test the web application manually.
• Test the web app using open source testing tools.
• Document test results.
• We use GitHub for issue management.

This position is open for Freshers who have completed course in software testing. You will be working with an amazing team and will have tremendous opportunities to learn and grow quickly. We are looking for Quality Analyst to work on our product Faveo HELPDESK

Role & responsibilities

• Work on www.faveohelpdesk.com
• Review Faveo in terms of UI, usability etc.
• Web security testing
• Performance testing
• Write Unit test cases in PHP, if candidate can write unit test cases in Laravel framework it will be an advantage
• Write manual test cases
• Test the web application manually
• Test the web application using open source testing tools
• Document the test result
• We use Github for issue management

• Basic IDE usage of any of these: NetBeans/Dreamweaver/Brackets/Sublime
• Selenium

Candidates with prior knowledge of these tools will be preferred
