Overview
We are looking to hire a QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience who can contribute to both manual and automation testing. The candidate should have strong testing fundamentals, hands-on experience in test execution, and the ability to develop and maintain automation scripts using modern tools or frameworks.
Skill Set Requirements
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
- Experience in manual testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT)
- Ability to design test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Knowledge of defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with test design techniques (Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning)
Automation Testing
- Experience in automation testing using any tools or frameworks
- Ability to write and maintain automation scripts
- Understanding of automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid)
- Experience with UI automation tools
- Basic knowledge of any programming or scripting language
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Basic understanding of SQL and database validation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts is an added advantage
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Analyze business requirements and create test scenarios and test cases
- Perform manual testing across different modules
- Identify, log, and track defects to closure
- Develop and maintain automation scripts
- Execute regression test suites and analyze results
- Collaborate with development and business teams
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting
