Job summary

Globelance in Surat offers an opportunity for a Lead QA Engineer to own QA strategy and quality outcomes across our accounts. You will define and manage QA processes, lead QA proofs of concept, and act as the primary quality leader within your project and team.

You will mentor QA engineers, perform hands-on non-functional testing (load, performance, security), and set the technical direction for CI/CD integration while ensuring adherence to SDLC/STLC and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8 years of QA experience with proven leadership in QA and account/team ownership.
• Testing Tools: Advanced proficiency in Playwright (web) and Appium WebdriverIO (mobile) using JavaScript/Node.js and BDD.
• Non-Functional Testing: Hands-on experience with load, performance, and security testing.
• CI/CD Integration: Strong experience in CI/CD processes and the ability to set technical direction.
• Communication Skills: Strong stakeholder communication skills, comfortable engaging with various audiences to drive outcomes.
• Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile delivery processes.
• Mentorship: Proven experience mentoring and developing QA Engineers.
