Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for a hybrid role across India (Gurugram, Trivandrum, Bengaluru, Pune, etc.). You will split time between manual testing and automation, building robust test automations and validating AI-enabled features.

The role requires 4–7 years of testing experience, strong Python/Java skills, and hands-on with Playwright, Appium, JMeter, and Postman. Collaborative, fast-paced environment with CI/CD and cloud exposure.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of software testing experience with a balance of manual and automation work.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java and hands-on automation framework experience.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Appium, JMeter, and API testing tools.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, and mobile testing across web and mobile apps.

• Log defects with clear reproduction steps and coordinate with developers to resolve issues.
