Job summary

Insight is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack to design, develop, and deploy high-performance, AI-driven applications atop Google Cloud Platform. You will build on Node.js, React, and React Native, delivering scalable microservices and seamless user experiences.

The role offers a hybrid work model across multiple Indian hubs, with opportunities to impact diverse industries and collaborate with solution architects and customers to solve complex challenges.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on fullstack architecture.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI-driven applications or agentic workflows.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React & React Native
• build responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
• Cloud Native Backend Development: Expert-level proficiency in designing scalable, serverless, and containerized microservices using Google Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GKE.
• Experience designing and building production APIs with proper contracts, error handling, and documentation ( RESTful API and gRPC service development).
• Strong architectural thinking - ability to evaluate trade-offs, identify bottlenecks, and design for scale
• Experience writing comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from engineers to executives
• Debugging and problem-solving skills for complex, distributed systems
• Useful Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Python or Golang for specialized backend services.
• Experience implementing agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain, Google ADK etc.
• Experience tuning applications for non-functional requirements, i.e., usability, maintainability, scalability, availability, security, portability, etc.
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform, in particular serverless (Cloud Functions), containers (Cloud Run, Kubernetes), and platforms (App Engine)
• Experience interfacing with Architects, Product Management to design and implement solutions
• Experience working with and diagnosing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions, Bamboo, Jenkins, Harness, or GCP Cloud Build)
• Familiarity with frontend web technologies, particularly React and Angular
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Customer Facing - You will interact with customers regularly, sometimes daily, other times weekly/bi-weekly. Common touchpoints occur when qualifying potential opportunities, at project kickoff, throughout the engagement as progress is communicated, and at project close.
• Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack & Agentic Development, your mission is to design, develop, and deploy high-performance, AI-driven applications that span the entire stack. You will leverage Node.js, React, and React Native alongside Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build seamless user experiences powered by advanced AI workflows.

Responsibilities:

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on fullstack architecture.
