Job summary

VizExperts India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. The role involves testing software, writing test cases, and ensuring the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in software testing with good communication skills and knowledge of GIS tools.

Applicants should have a BE, BTech, MSc, or MCA degree and be proficient in English. The position may require travel to client sites, and experience in an agile environment is preferred.

PRIMARY ROLE

Reporting to the QA Manager, the role is to provide services relating to testing software.

The QA Engineer is responsible for planning and executing test plan in the most efficient and effective manner. Planning and execution must meet the highest quality standards set forth by VizExperts. The QA Engineer is responsible for writing test cases and performing Testing

ACCOUNTABILITY

The QA Engineer will be accountable to the QA Manager with secondary accountability to the other management team members, employees and customers of the company.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.

TRAVEL

Candidates should be open to travel to client side for testing and maintenance work.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Please note the essential functions may vary depending on department size, organizational structure and/or geographic location. Where the term supervision or management is used this will always be regarded as a fully participatory role.

Writing Black-box test cases as per requirement

Understanding of testing software/hardware

Executing test cases, Bug filing and upgrade test reports.

Exploring open source software and provide enhancement features.

Upgrade Software & Hardware as needed

Upgrade documents as required

Giving demo as and when required at client location.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE

Qualities Requirement

Qualifications BE, BTech, MSc, MCA

Experience 2-5 years

Verbal communication Good, Precise and clear.

Written communication Proficient in English for software documentation.

Software expertise

Experience in Testing GIS Tools/Softwares - ArcGIS,

Experience working on Bug reporting tool, Test management tool.

Concepts Good Awareness on Computer Hardware and Operating Systems

Nice to have knowledge on visualization & simulation softwares.

Nice to have knowledge on Audio video concepts.

Should have worked in agile environment.

Good knowledge in SDLC, STLC, Test Methodology and different levels of testing.
