Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years QA experience (manual + automation).
• Playwright for UI/web automation (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).
• API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar.
• VS Code/IntelliJ as IDE for development/testing.
• Familiarity with Claude AI prompting for generating test scripts and debugging.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with manual and automated testing, Playwright-based automation, API testing, and version control practices, along with strong problem‑solving ability and an interest in leveraging AI tools to improve testing efficiency.

Competitive Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in QA (manual + automation)
• Strong experience in manual testing — test case design, exploratory testing, regression testing, and defect reporting
• Experience in Playwright for UI/web automation (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
• Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools
• Experience with VS Code / IntelliJ as a development/testing IDE
• Familiarity with prompting AI tools like Claude for generating test scripts, debugging, and improving productivity
• Good mathematical and logical reasoning skills to analyse complex scenarios, calculations, and data-driven test cases
• Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into testable components
• Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
• Good analytical and debugging skills

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Basic understanding of performance or load testing tools
