Job summary

Jobtailor in India is seeking an experienced automation tester to manage test automation projects, build and run automated scripts using Selenium, and ensure API reliability.

You will set up CI/CD integrations with Azure DevOps and GitHub, participate in Agile ceremonies, and communicate with clients to gather requirements and deliver high-quality automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive web automation experience using Java or Python with Selenium.
• Strong API testing skills using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Comfort with Agile testing and participating in ceremonies.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent validation.
• Excellent client-facing communication and teamwork.

Job description

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium preferably.
• Set up automation frameworks from scratch and Integrate automation code/tools to CI/CD pipeline.
• Perform API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of web services.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Provide technical training to upskill the existing testing team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience for web automation using Java/Python preferably Selenium.
• Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Strong knowledge of Agile test methodology.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA.
• Experience with database testing preferably SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality automation testing solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and flexibility with timing.
• ISTQB Certified.
