Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer in India to design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web applications. You will leverage Selenium with Java/Python, APIs with Postman/ReadyAPI, and modern CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable software delivery.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on QA best practices are essential. The ideal candidate has strong experience in test automation, SDLC knowledge, and certifications like ISTQB.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with Selenium for web automation using Java/Python.
Proficient in Automation API testing using tools like ReadyAPI, Postman, Playwright.
Ability to set up automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience with CI/CD testing.
Proficiency with Jenkins.
Knowledge of integrating automation tools with test management tools.
Strong knowledge of Agile test methodology.
Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, DevOps etc.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality automation testing solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multitask and flexibility with timing.

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Test Complete.
Perform Automated API testing to ensure the reliability of web Applications.
Integrate automation tools with test management tools.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Automation tools like Cypress, Test Robot Automation, ReadyAPI, Mendix.
Experience with database testing preferably SQL.
Knowledge of data migration testing.
Understanding of ETL processes and testing.
Preferred domain experience in Insurance & healthcare.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
